The Mille Jeunes Ambitions Association (AMJA) is a French non-profit (loi 1901) that supports young people in French-speaking Africa into digital careers: online training, international certifications and support all the way to employment.
In French-speaking Africa, thousands of young people have the drive and the ability to work in digital. Three obstacles too often stand in their way.
Quality training for digital careers remains expensive, far away or simply unavailable for many young people.
Without a recognised certification, it is hard to prove what you can do to a recruiter, especially internationally.
Network, coaching, introductions: what opens doors is often what is most lacking.
The programme 1000 Jeunes Ambitions brings together what is most often missing: training 100% online, certification that is international, and support one-to-one, towards employment or entrepreneurship.
Impact figures are consolidated and published at the end of each cohort. Detailed results are available on the Cohorts page.
